Some us have gotten the message over the Radio and some of us haven’t. For people who have not familiarized yourself with blogging this is what it is all about. If you are not willing to share than you are not willing to blog. It is the simple rule that bloggers follow. Blogger, WordPress, or whatever blogging format who cares as long as we spread the messages that people like to hear. RSS is as vital to blogging as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace is to Social Media. RSS is where blog readers go to see raw blog-sites to look for content that is suitable for their reading without all the other bells and whistles on the website or the blog-site version of the blog. This is where content is king with blogs. Pictures may show up on the RSS Feeds but Video normally does not. This is why content rich blogs rank higher in search engines than blogs that contain more video and pictures than blogs that have a lot of written content. It is also why websites do not raise their rankings in Search Engines as quickly as blogs do. Blogs constantly evolve. That is why you will see many blogs attached to owner’s web-sites as another means of advertising their websites. The Search Engines actually read the contentment on blogs and websites and ranks the content. I do like video but this is where I do not like to let the Search Engines and our readers down by not having enough good content.
Philly Screams is a terrific website for information on who, what, and where to be for this last big weekend before Halloween. I like to say I left the best for last but, IT IS ALL GOOD! Philly Screams is sponsored mainly by WMGK 102.9 FM and BEN FM in Philadelphia. Unless you listen to those radio stations you may have not heard of Philly Screams and if I did not write anything about Philly Screams I would be doing a disservice to our readers. When I write stories for this blog I try to write about things I know that are interesting but do not get the normal exposure that the larger companies get because of their enormous advertising budgets. When you think of Social Media on the Internet you think of word of mouth advertising and that can be or is the best advertising today. I just like blogging because I can write a larger post than I can on Facebook or twitter. But then I go to Facebook and twitter and get the word out about my blog posts. Go Figure! Social Media RULES!!!
