His Many Crosses To Bear

For there to be a Resurrection there had to be a death, and for there to be a death there had to be a birth. When we look at Jesus Christ other than God in the flesh who was he? To many Jesus is one in the Holy Spirit with God. Many also see Jesus as the Son of God acknowledging him only as the Heavenly Father’s Son. Jesus was King of the Jews to the Gentiles and the Pagans in a world denying there was to be a new world religious order to the many new generations of those following God as Christians. This would make Jesus a Rabbi by the Jewish faith for those he was King of. Jesus was known as a philosopher to many because of his dedication and guidance to many with his words of wisdom to who were not necessarily followers.  Jesus was a man that was betrayed by one of his own disciples one of his closest friends then later denied by another. Jesus then was turned on by a crowd of those who were his followers at his trial by the words of King Herod, the Grandson of the King Herod who sought to capture and kill Jesus soon after his birth causing Joseph, Mary and Jesus to flee into the safety of Egypt.

Jesus was a carpenter by trade carving wood building furniture and structure. He touched many lives helping many in his journeys. He was a man of compassion for the sick and the poor by giving of himself. He was a man totally unselfish as he gave to others and condemned other’s for their greed and quest for power.

Jesus is a symbol of hope trust and faith. He is an anchor to the many who follow him. Jesus dedicated and gave his life in the name of what is good in human justice. He survived a beating that mortal man would not normally survive. Then he was given a crown of thorns pushed into his flesh and carried the cross of his crucifixion where he had his hands and feet bound and nailed to when it was soon erected and he finally died with two common thieves.

Jesus was more than brave man but a follower of the father who gave his son’s life as a symbol of good for all men and women of this earth no matter what their faith and love to his Christian Followers.

When life seems so difficult and at times you feel you may want to give up just think of Jesus when you feel as you have a cross to bear. Jesus bore his Cross and died on it so we could be forgiven and we in turn can forgive others. Think of a man who was put on earth for the good of man and woman in their faith and in life as a gift from God.

Happy Easter to You and Your Family!
